Our Backstory

Pj's Plumbing: Founded in the Pursuit of a Passion

Founded in 1998 by master plumber Paul Glapinski, PJ’s Plumbing began as a one-person operation serving homeowners in Hartland and the surrounding Lake Country communities. Paul set out to build a company rooted in honest service, fair pricing, and a genuine commitment to getting things done right. Early on, a loyal customer base was built by answering every call, solving tough problems, and treating people with the care and respect they deserve.

As demand grew, so did our company. In 2012, PJ’s Plumbing expanded through the acquisition of JD Wilson Plumbing in Merton, strengthening our presence in Lake Country and bringing in additional skill sets that broadened our team’s capabilities. In 2020, we further deepened our roots by acquiring Burton Plumbing, a trusted local name that had served Waukesha County since 1962. These transitions not only grew our service area, but also allowed us to bring in diverse talent, new expertise, and a shared commitment to high-quality, code-correct plumbing work.

Over the years, we have evolved into a full-service provider supporting both residential and commercial clients. Our team handles everything from emergency repairs and wells and drains, to water heaters, remodels, and new home construction. Our ability to solve a wide array of complex problems has become a defining strength, setting us apart from competitors who specialize in only one or two service categories.

Through every chapter of growth, our foundation has stayed the same: fast response times, honest explanations, and a team of authentic, hardworking people who take pride in protecting homes and businesses. Today, PJ’s Plumbing serves customers throughout Southeast Wisconsin as we continue to build on a legacy of reliability, integrity, and hands-on expertise. As we look to the future, our mission remains clear: delivering trustworthy service and meaningful solutions for every customer, every time.
